Every player gets a free Ursa Major early on. While a strong card in its own right, Ursa major does not gel with the other creatures a player gets in the start (like Flame Brave) and players tend to overlook this card.

Ursa Major has good survivability owing to its high level of Frost Armor and increases its attack over time using its 'Anger' skill. This makes it a good card to use in the Guild Maps in the early stages while you are working towards a proper Guild Map deck.

Ursa Major also has the highest level of stabthrough in the game. It makes an excellent filler card for a stabthrough deck. (see the link below for the amazing meld stab ranger)

You can aquire this card from mazes as well as completing dungeon 9.1 in high difficulty. It is not recommended to meld this card as the copies are rare. If you decide to meld, battleblow is a good option.
