Transmutation

Transmutation is an Event in which players are allowed to combine specific 4 star cards for a chance to get powerful 5 star cards.

Cards available for the transmutation 

The name of the event is "2x transmutation success event". This name is misleading because transmutation can be done only during this event.

Chance of Success

The chance for a successful transmutation is believed to be around 10% during the event. There is no official confirmation regarding the percentage of success. Successful transmutation gives you the specified 5 star creature, while failure gives you a random 4 star or 5 star card.

Protection

You have an option to protect your cards from being consumed in case of a failure. Protection costs 100 gems per 4 star card. In case of a success, the cards are consumed irrespective of the protection.

Insight 

You can also enable 'insight' with gems to increase the chance of success. The level of increase in success rate is unknown. It is possible to fail transmutation several times in a row, even with full insight. It might be more worthwhile to protect your cards with gems and try multiple times instead of enabling insight.

Failure

Transmutation failure has a small chance to give very desirable 5 star cards like Archdeva or Great Mystic.

Which cards are good to go for?

Kitsune and Kumiho are the best in the group.

Osiris is useful for unsealing Ra.

Lady Bloom and Arcane Knight are good cards to have. Lady bloom requires immunity meld to be powerful.

Bewitcher is strong. She is useful during the mid game when you are still collecting good cards. In late game she is not that useful because her damage output is low.

Lord Bones and Easter Bunny are also good cards to have in the mid game. Note that Easter Bunny requires Cleric, which is also required for Lady Bloom.

Axe Warden and Sylph are completely useless.
